About Us

Jan and John are grateful for their relationship and have sensed God's fingerprints throughout their courtship. They are thankful for the many people who have supported and encouraged them throughout this journey. Jan is founder of Boundless Results, a speaking and training business located in Sumner, Washington. John serves as VP of Accounting and Finance at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. How We Met

The summer of 2004, Jan received a phone call from the Director of Human Resources at Seattle's Union Gospel Mission. The assignment? Serve as the consultant in a multi-year initiative to help the mission create a culture of exceptional service. Six months into the project, John called Jan for what she thought was a business dinner. John thought it was a date. Of course, the flowers gave it away. However, John agreed not to date until the contract was completed. He would ultimately end up waiting for six months longer than the 2 1/2 years remaining on the contract. On February 19, 2008, the contract was fulfilled. That night, they had their first date!
